Do not think that Pax Mahle can produce a bad wine. Super perfumed nose, Super wound up red fruit, cedar, dark chocolate, smooth tannins. So damn good.

Thank you Pax! Mellow, and at one point the fresh strawberry with the light smoke was just wonderful.

2011 Pax Grifin's Lair Syrah. At Diovola in Geyserville. Initially almost perfect. With some magical Diovola food somehow morphed into the smoothest, most wonderful 100%syrah. Thank you Punky Mahle for this most generous anniversary gift.
