I was admittedly nervous to open this bottle, but the Parrish petite sirah will get you back into the grape -- and Paso too. Showed a funky nose followed on the palate by rich bramble fruits, cedar, and spices. Fine, dusty tannins, supported by plush acidity, made a great campfire wine. Nothing stewed or hot here.
