Young, but damn it's accessible now...warm vintages....drink now or toss the dice and hold for a later day? Usually my favorite of the stable of single vineyard Cru Barolo.

Chocolate covered cherries, some spices, & some herbs with a touch of eucalyptus. Tight and restrained right now, but lovely fruit. Spices up front with chocolate covered cherries, some minerals, followed by some fruit tannin & herbs. Medium acid. A tad tight right now, but nicely integrated tannins. Great balance, but needs a few years in the cellar.

The 1st single vineyard bottling for this amazing family. Such a special treat to drink this in the company of Ricardo Sgarra.

2011. Wonderful. Ready now but will evolve and become even more elegant over time. At the winery today.
