Santa Barbara County Nebbiolo

Bright cola; star anise, tart red fruit and Asian five spiced ribs. Want more and very good at this age.

Aged 5 years prior to release. Rusty brick color with an orange hue. Delicious palate with soft but grippy tannin.

Very good and showing tried cherry and unfiltered tobacco; big fine but with sufficient tannin to be balanced.

This is a noble effort to make an age worthy Nebbiolo, but unfortunately it falls s little short. The wine had aromas of industrial metal worskshop, asphalt, and light fennel spice. Very bitter in the mouth with balsamic notes.

Could go 20 more years??? Huge and delicious.
