Pagos de Molino
Arras de Bobal

A nice, firm wine starting to show some red fruit notes underneath all the blackberry, spice, coffee, baking cocoa, and damp black earth. Palate has lots of fruit, balanced acidity, rustic tannins, and a richly creamy texture. The standout flavor for this grape is kola nut, and this one brings it out in a nicely integrated way. This is a really interesting wine...and this one has a lot of years still left to evolve. Long, soft finish too.

Mar 7th, 2014Deeply opaque wine moving towards a tawny color. Nose has dark black fruit, sweet vanilla, toast, and a bit of honeysuckle. Palate is full and mouthcoating with mocha, blackberries, white pepper, and baking spices. Acidity is crisp, tannins are firm, and the finish is long. The wine is rustic, unusual and tasty.
