Found this bottle a little dusty on the shelf but took a chance on it. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. It also has this crispness or bubbly-ness about it that I love. UPDATE: It’s a little too sweet for me.

2014 vintage - in the dry side with notes of apricot, lemon, rose petals. Good stuff for the price.

Smells faintly fruity, and also sour and acidic. Very heavy bodied, sweet but not too sweet. Alcoholic enough that you can feel a faint stinging throughout your mouth. Transitions quickly from sweet, to sour, to a zing in the back of your mouth. It feels very sugary but it's dry enough that I still find it pleasant. I'm reminded of honey and tropical fruit.
