Big.

Still beastly tannins at 10 years of age. Will be awesome at 20.

On any other night, would have been a show stopper.

Infanticide. Spurred on by the opening of other recent decade old Napa Cabs which were in a great place, I opened this wine but it surely could have used another 5yrs in bottle. Three hours of air started to open her up and mellow her out, but it can't replace bottle age. Dark fruits, mostly blackberry and blueberry, and some baking spices (?) and plenty of structure with juicy acidity and some tannins that still need to integrate a bit. Long lingering finish.

Alcohol is a tad too high, but impressed with how much this wine has evolved in 10 years.

Dark, subtle with mocha hints

Very concentrated mountain fruit. Powerful wine with structured yet integrated tannins. Blue and black juicy fruits with a hint of spice and earth tied in.
