Repressed tannic wine. Great to drink young. Doesn't need to age for more than a few years after the year. (From the wine maker) nice volcanic smoky ashy tar flavor. Nice floral tones to this wine. Aromatic. The fruit isn't jammy that has nice fruit flavors. Not too bitter. More approachable than many strong cab francs that you may typically get in Napa. Nice soft finish.
