Still fresh even with 13 years in it. Almond skin, lemon rind, white pepper.

Nice acid. Nutty todaty wet sand, citrus. Great wine.

I liked this better than the 2007 we had a while ago. Still lots of oak. Hint of sherry cask perhaps. Dry.

Tastes a bit like dry sherry. Great food wine.

Floral and lots of ripe exotic fruits on the nose, balanced and marked acidity with a long finish.

2011 vintage tasted at Vega Sicilia portfolio tasting, Berry Bros. & Rudd, 3 St James's Street, London. Fresh, lemon fruit and a hint of liquorice. Dry, soft on the palate, round. Spicy with a hint of macerated lemon skin. Ginger and gentle bitterness compose the finish.

All about this! Pervasive and rich. It's like diet meursault.

Pleasantly surprised. High alcohol but very drinkable.

Tropical fruits, citrus, spice, minerals.

Nose has hints of jamón crudo, Roquefort and some floral notes, coming through on the palate with minerals and almonds.
