Fresh plum, dried rose petals and subtle notes of dill and vanilla from American oak. Medium+ body and vibrant red fruit on the palate. Medium tannins, elegant finish. 2010 is still quite youthful and should cellar another 5+ years.

Fairly lean and acidic with moderate tannins. Seems past it’s prime with only a little dark fruit (maybe blackberry) showing. Nose starts with barnyard funk, maybe a hint of bell pepper. Drank best with a bit of chill on it on day 2 than on day one when opened. Went fairly well with Mexican seasoned chicken and grilled tuna.

Smokey, oak, leather, and cracked pepper. Enjoyable, seductive nose. Acid driven over tannin on the palate with red and black fruit. Oak needs to be held in check better by fruit in my opinion. Finishes with slightly bitter tannins.
