Apr 19th, 20212017: initially subdued nose with dry assertive tannins. As it opened, palate softened and became quite approachable given its youth. Red fruits abound both ripe and stewed. The finish is surprisingly long! Great value ($45 at Eataly). Will be really nice in 2-5 years.
