Feb 17th, 2022Thanksgiving dinner with family. Brother-in-law requested an Oakville Ranch CS and this was the oldest I could quickly put my hands on. Did side by side with a 2014 Sherwin CS Estate. I liked the Sherwin a bit better tonight. Great side by side of these two wines.

Saving the best for last !!! Another drought vintage wine with concentrated, ripe flavors. Persistent finish.

Apr 12th, 2018Interesting dinner at this Italian eatery. Carpaccio was pounded making the texture kinda slimy, Interesting but different. Beet salad with burrata was good. Risotto with butternut squash was the hit! The short-rib pappardelle was different but the sauce was great! The wine was great with all the dishes.
