Drinking the 2015 Darien Vineyard in late 2020. Deep rich claret color with excellent clarity. Bouquet starts with lots of oak, earthy ripe fruit with a light hint of raspberry. Taste is very dry with light acidity in the after taste. Hints of oak, raspberries and plum. More acidity then a typical Syrah. Overall, good but not great.

Nose was light smoke and a fresh meat, in the best way. Big jammy plum flavors.
