OK but group rating is fairly true... Passito, with grapes dried 40 days, a different process, a malolactic fermentation which yields an unfamiliar full flavor, but more tangy-sour than a Barbara of the region. Not to buy again...

"Corked" bottle bought at grocery store. Good color, promising hints of big berry but not good - though wife thought it OK...one of us has a grossly mistaken palate tonight...

A full bodied red, richly flavored with dark brambly fruit, pomegranate, and a little spice. Very fruit forward, low tannins. Easy to drink and smooth.
