Top Notes For
Casey @ Travelling Corkscrew

As we're on a bit of a budget due to the upcoming nuptials we are diving into the cellar more and more to drink the good stuff (life's too short to drink bad wine right?). The MyattsField 'Dudley' Durif is one of my favourite reds of theirs and it sure is the season to tuck into such a gem - especially when you have a bowl full of slow cooked beef ragu in front of you!

On the eye it's a deep, opaque, inky plum colour. It has s very aromatic nose full of blackberries, tobacco and enticing vanilla notes. The palate is full of body with an extended length. It's juicy, rich and plummy with intergrated tannins that compliment the wine wonderfully. It suffers that common problem with all good wines - the bottle is finished far too soon.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
