Fading perhaps, but an elegant downside. The tar is subdued now and only apparent on the nose. The roses are everywhere and reflected even in the bricked color. The remaining fruit is high toned and elegant, with fig, olive, and bloody steak notes. Makes me think back to long lunches in a country Italian farm cafe. Nothing to do but eat, drink, and laugh.
