Sour cherry, strawberry, flintstones vitamins, acid. Reminds us of a Tavel. A little bit more ripe than a typical Provençal one, but way better than expected.

Rich in color for a rosé, with a nose full of cranberry and pomegranate. The off-dry pallate is rich and medium bodied (full for a rosé) with a great balance of medium acidity and lucious ripe red fruit. A well balanced and flavorful rosé that kept me coming back for another sip. Paired superbly with marinated grilled chicken breasts on the balcony. ($9)

Wouldn't be summer without crushing a bottle of this. Always a go-to and great with heirloom tomatoes. Drink, drink, drink!

For an inexpensive bottle I am finding mucho nuance and a lot more on the palate than the nose indicated! Not just sour cherry but ripe cherry, vanilla bean and a hint of earth/must, too. This is not a basic bitch rosé. I mean, it's a cab so duh. Yay South Africa. I shall drink this "liquid summer love" on special occasions going forward because it's too good for, "drinking while I work," which I may or may not be doing right meow. I may. Be drinking wine. While I work. Again. Always. Wine.

Mulderbosch Cabernet Sauvignon Rose. 2015. Currently a little tart but has everything else right. Time might mellow this out a bit. Screw cap

A little on the tart side but you can taste the fruit, tart cranberries maybe strawberries. Good for the price, nice bottle, cute label and the letter M on the cap
