Absolutely gorgeous. Red bell pepper and beets, this is savory, full bodied, and perfectly balanced. Stellar with tenderloin.

Fantastic considering the vintage; lush fruits, purity and freshness with sweet, seductive tannins adding structure on the sexy finish. Hard to resist.

Really nice 2011. Nose of black and red fruit, pepper. Great mouthfeel, solid structure. Tannins super soft, drinking very nicely. Dark fruit, bell pepper, leather, sweet pipe tobacco. Medium finish.

I’ve become such a fan of this wine, having the ‘18 multiple times, and blown away by it. This is my first ‘11. Structure is pretty close to solid, a bit more acidity would be just right, but the fruit is ripe, black and blue, the tannins have softened up beautifully making it drink so easily. The finish is medium. While not up to the ‘18s, for an ‘11 this is a great wine. And both vintages, still offering great value. I have some ‘16 and ‘19 that I looked forward to comparing.

Beautiful wine. Full bodied, but soft on the palate. Paired with filet mignon.

Typical 2011 vintage: drinkable but lacks body.
