Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Wasn't expecting as much balance in this wine but impressed! Aromas of cedar box and cola initially w a spirited bourbon overtone quickly evolved to deep dried cherry, black olive, cigar box & leather. palate complex w Tobacco, cigar, black fruit finishing w medium acidity. A reminder of great NV mountain Cabernet

We had a 3L 2004 bottle with beautiful gold etching for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners 2022. Excellent fruit and no tannins. Complexity of an aged Bordeaux style Napa Cab. Great nose and long finish. Couldn’t have wanted anything better.

Aging well. Needs decanting and filtered. Complex flavors.

Out of a magnum and showing wonderfully. Still fruit on the nose and palate with at lest another 10+ years of life.

Celebrating Jess's 40th with many cabs and pinots. This was our take home party favor and one of Brian's favorites of the night. Enjoying it in Tahoe on our last trip here.
