A mature Mount Eden chardonnay that was unfortunately slightly cooked (auction wine...) Gorgeous nose of hazelnut, vanilla, roasted almonds but a bit over oxidized on the palate. However, the fruit and acid are still kicking. I'll keep looking for better stored versions from the 80s.
