From magnum at the Annual Judges Dinner at the Toowoomba Wine Show. Having a little more vigour than the 750 ml bottle I had a few months ago. Beautiful nose; herbal with brambly notes and amazing length. Lovely wine.

Typical herbaceous brambly style from this maker with notes of geranium. Moss Wood in a lesser year but still an excellent Cabernet- one of Australia's best.

Margaret River cabernet nearing its end; lots of cedar (oak sweetness), mature fruit now earthy and fungal, interesting minerality now that tannins have softened; colour moved on to browns, natural cork, great with earthy tastes; mature brie, goat, blue cheddar.
