An end member style Sangiovese Chianti with its unctuous richness, but incredibly expressive. The tarry dark cherry just explodes in the mouth, transforming to wild dark cherry aromas. Some would say this is only starting to be ready based on the widely accepted formulas, but I would say this is at peak. All depends on what you like, however.

Beautiful Sangiovese from a difficult year. Iron, cherries, a bit of blood and earth. Mildly drying tannins.
