Largest house in France, founded 1743 by Claude Moët: Rose, blend of 43% Pinot Noir, 42% Chardonnay, & 15% Meunier, aged 6 months on lees. Following a stormy winter, wet spring and dry summer, surprisingly the wine has great balance. Medium salmon color with aromas of sweet red fruits with notes of floral and bread toast. On the palate flavors of strawberry and raspberry with spice, biscuit and floral notes. Great balance, ok bubble flow and light mousse, lively acidity, medium finish ending with fruit, floral and toasty mineral tones.
