What a great expression of Barolo. Michele Chiarlo has created a $50 Barolo that tastes like $80+. 2013 Vintage. Color is is Ruby brick color, a wine with a medium plus acidity. On the nose light & black Cherries, herbacious. On the palate it is velvety but yet still grips the palate with firm tannins with flavors of cherries, raspberries, mint, leather, anise.
