Had this before and seemed fresher, more vibrant. Citrus zests, creamy palate with a sharpish acidic finish.

Tastes ultra brut and surprisingly sharp for a 2004

Taking on some vinegar notes I associate with much older wines. Better with some air: mainly poached apple; not as much yeast or minerality as I recall from the last bottle. Not unenjoyable, but unbalanced.

Classic - lemon curd, minerality, some yeastiness. Sharp with a very long finish.
