Yuck. In bend or looking for a good bottle to pair with burgers, this is an #oakmonster, decent tannin, very ripe. Not my cup of juice.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish Rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, licorice, figs, cloves, earth, leather, green pepper, mocha, coffee, chocolates, tobacco, beef jerky and peppercorn.

Full bodied, bold and jammy, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate, with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, tart cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, earth and peppercorn.

Long finish with soft tannins, black pepper and tart strawberries.

This 4 year old from Lodi, California, is still drinking nicely, but probably on the way down. Lots of vegetable notes and very little tannins, this time.

Thank you Stacy and Dan, for sharing.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Aroma of black cherry, currants, and dark berries with an cedar-y finish. Great fruity taste without going sweet. Nicely tannic and not too dry. Bought this for the label, but would repurchase for the taste!
