Plum candy, blackberry jam, black pepper, and mint. Quite glycerin like on the palate (but in a good way). Classic stewed dark fruit notes but enough acidity to keep it lively. Tannins are soft and smooth. Those mint and chocolate notes show up as well to keep things interesting.

Big, ripe wine but still well made and tasty.

Cool label. Dark. Smells like licorice extract but faintly. Flavors are typical Oz style wine. Big, fresh and fleshy. Dense. Extra. Molasses extra. With the fruit too. But more of a cooked berries and black cherries type of fruit. It’s got a bit of character.
