Top Notes For
David Shaw

Needs time to open, at least two hours. Dense unfined highly extracted pigment. Call it dark ruby plum in color. Slightly smoky in nose. Light body but lots of lightly chewy tannins, black currant and plum in the finish with cherry syrup and light eucalyptus aftertaste. A lighter take on the old Italian immigrant red out of Napa or Sonoma 50-60 years back.
