Raise your hand if you can remember the last Napa Cab you had that was 13.2%ABV or under. So nice for a change of pace wine like this from @Steve Matthiasson .
As a ‘12, I was still fairly shocked at the youth-fullness of this. Very dry and chalky up front. Dark chocolate. The nose was very dominant of muddled raspberries, tar, almost ripe blackberries. Really opened after an hour or so...a bit more floral, but also more plum, raspberries and a very herbal and mineral focused finish. Very enjoyable. Nice, @Mark Flesher !

Lovely lovely bottle of wine right here. Gorgeous aromatics of rose petal, sweet cherry, eucalyptus, mint, and some earthy funk. Palate is as poised, smooth, and soft as you'll ever find in a Napa cab, which is not to say it's light-bodied.. not at all. Rich, but uber-soft on the palate. Like a silk dress. Awesome wine.

Tasted blind amongst some great Napa wines and performed very well. Very elegant, pretty red raspberry nose. Elegant and restrained on the palate, but still vibrant and youthful. A wine with lots of soul and personality. Well done Steve!

Cranberry, dark cherries, graphite, and greenness, tannic and tight. Open for about an hour in decanter and started to hit its stride!
