Floral nose with ripe cooked cherry and berries blended with alcohol and nice soap. Flavor is smokey, chewy and ripe. Some earthy stuff. Hint of black licorice or anise. Slight element of black tea as well. Finishes with a nice tannic smack. This paired with eggplant Parmesan like nobody’s business.
