Solid, juicy, value-driven Chinon. One of my favorite daily drinkers. Just-ripe raspberry and strawberry red fruit, fresh red floral character, that classic Chinon green bell pepper, pencil shavings, and granitic, gravelly earth. There's a tiny bit of brett too which I definitely don't mind. Moderate acidity, the '14s had a little more acid which I definitely appreciated but I don't feel like the '15s are "flabby" or lacking in acid at all either, there's still enough to balance and support the other elements. Body and tannin levels are medium (-). Overall, pretty nice juice. Serve it just warmer than cellar temp.
