Maremma Toscana IGT 2008, 14,5%. Made with Alicante grapes, magnum bottle tasted in July 2014. Aged for 16 months in French oak barriques. This is the best alicante I've tasted in a long time: complex and elegant nose. Incredibly rich and smooth in the mouth, velvety and long lasting. I loved it!
