Great budget wine ruined by some fly-by-night synthetic closure that I've never seen. Nice initial nose and initial mouthfeel, but a deep inhale brings a definite plasticky smell and the finish is an unnatural acidic/bitter sensation. Would love to try one under any other closure- Nomacorc, natural, or screwcap, as the wine seems rather nice beneath this new kind of "cork taint"

2013 vintage very smoky, very dry with an Anaheim pepper or smoky green pepper on the nose. I imagine this would be incredible served along side a good steak or salmon on a cedar plank.
