2014. Medium pale ruby with bright pink rim. Perfumed nose of strawberry, slate, sandalwood, hint of rust/dusty pepper. On the palate, crisp acid, medium body, very fine tannins. Concentrated ripe but cool red fruit with plenty of mineral backbone. No obvious oak. Tense and tight structurally, like the red version of a mineral Riesling.
