Interesting wine. Lots of grapefruit out of the gate, and it seemed to put on weight with exposure to air. Would love to try again with some age on it.

First sip hit me with what seemed like orange zest. Loved it.

I should admit it's already not my favorite grape (bergamot & lavender all in yo' face!) That said, this particular offering seemed a little fussy and extracted.

Strawberries, blueberry, and perfume/floral scents on the nose. Salt and pepper, grapefruit, and wet crushed leaves on the palate. Better after opening and aerating on day one than two days later.

Nice wine. Good tannins- not overly floral- a characteristic for this varietal. Good fruit- went well with lunch of frittata with kale and spinach. Snow day- so decided to kill the bottle. Why not?

What a great way to get a NW drinker to like OW wines.
