The Portezuelo
Excellent if a tiny bit of bitter stem or seed. Actually makes it work better with food.
Actually better dia dos.

Foot stomped and stripped from the stem by hand, this is another terroir-driven wine from this French transplant, this time using a grape that's usually reserved for cheap jug wines. Luyt wanted to bring out the grape's natural lightness and softness while allowing it to communicate the soils of the Maule valley. Pours pinkish and cloudy, and has a hefty amount of funk and dried strawberry on the nose. A touch sulfuric. Light and beautifully acidic on the palate, with cranberry and strawberry notes joined by an intense, cracked leather, limestone and soil finish, lingering with an earthy bitterness on the tongue for some time.
