For those of you unsure about the longevity of Ca pinots I offer this 2005 Londer as proof positive that they are going strong at 12 years old. And it's a little weird to be drinking my last bottle from a winery that no longer exists. Ah, the new world ;). I've had Londers over many years and this one hues to their well known profile as a med bodied red/dark fruit juice with a notable spicy element. It's still juicy enough to be refreshing. I'd call it a classic nouveau Mendocino Ca Pinot. I'm already missing this distinctive Larry and Shirley wine that set a standard for early 21st century Ca Pinot.
