This is the kind of Chardonnay that I love...bright acidity, just enough oak to give creaminess, and malo that doesn't go overboard. Color is golden and slightly amber. Nose has white pepper, apricot, and overripe meyer lemon. Palate is rich and hedonistically creamy with balance and a very long finish. There's just a touch of butterscotch starting to peek out. This is a lovely wine.
