Rich Satsuma plum and cassis, dark cherry. So perfectly melded together with superfine tannins and a velvety smooth frame of plummy acidity. But it was the nose that kept me coming back, sweet vanilla oak and a stony edge. This '08 has 5+ years to go but no need to wait.
