Every now and then I'll try a Cab. If I remember correctly, I enjoyed the Lindeman Merlot. This Cab is better. Very bold flavor in the beginning balances out towards the middle and finishes smooth as ever. Good wine.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity on the nose with blueberries, sweet cherries, strawberries, red candy, metals, barnyard, light wood, light vanilla, licorice, spices and black pepper.

Medium-bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blueberries, cherries, plums, red currants, earth, vanilla, vegetables, graphite, beef jerky, chocolates, spices and peppercorn.

Medium finish with medium tannins and tart cherries.

This is an average Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia. Drinkable, simple, unbalanced with no complexity, but approachable with a nice mouthfeel.

Nothing special, but not bad for a bulk wine. Had it from a magnum (not that it matters in this case).

13.5% alcohol by volume.
