2009 A great Chardonnay from Val d'Aosta, among the highest vineyards in Italy.

Savory, Salty, structured mineral bitterness on the end, definitely wine for food, not for itself. It losts its fruit bit at this moment. Definitely have lingering finish of oak and structures(mineral bitterness driven) . Linguinie with clam, zuppa di pesce can be considerable for this one or bit rustic cheese based pizza or sweet gorgonzola, grana padano.
