Jul 7th, 2019Known for their superb Chardonnay this Leeuwin estate Cab is delicious. Ripe red fruits like raspberries mixed with black current and black berries with excellent finish. Great storage potential (screw cap???) as it has nice tannins, impressive wine legs but also hints of pyrazine (green pepper). Wonder how it will evolve over the years. Too late for this bottle as it has been devoured quickly. Now time to attack the art series.

My first Cabernet Sauvignon. Surprised at how smooth and easy to drink this is for a full bodied wine.
