Opened for a day. Still fresh and bright with all that soulful Grenache love

Just a touch too much bret kinda muted the nose (probably shoulda waited to let it blow off but we were thirsty) other wise this would have had all the trappings of great, classic style CDP.

Solid.

Great minerality fruit garrigue balance. Good to age a while.

Delicious start to the night

Love this wine! Very balanced, smooth tannins, good fruit but a bit restrained at the same time, complex, and a finish which lingers for 30-40 seconds. I'm buying more (this was my first bottle).

I've always admired Donjon for producing only one bottling since their inception in 1966.

There is so much brett that whatever you taste now won't be there next time. This is the kind of stuff someone will tell you is complex and interesting

Needed significant air but performed admirably with a slight meaty, stable type background staying really classy with lots of red fruit and garigues

Out of a 375. Marvelous aromatics. Intense smoke, char-spice, venison, and bitter chocolate lifted by a stiff but balanced alcohol. So heady, yet properly rustic. The night's unfortunately still early, because this is exactly what you want to slowly finish a night with.
