Nice, subtle, mousse mouthfeel, green apple, white citrus, gentle minerality, seashells, spring flowers, round acidity and great finish as always. Paired with triple cream cheese & warm Focaccia rounds with garlic and cheese for starters.

At first it’s ripe stone fruit, nuttiness and a long, evolving finish with medium autolytic tones. As it opens and the mousse subsides the fruit becomes more tart, the profile more mineral. Not at the level of the 2008 (one of the most remarkable champagnes I ever tasted) but great

Love the nose on this: ripe apple, pear, spice and butter cream. A bit unbalanced on the palate with plenty of mineral and richness and likely some years to go to settle. Throw a meal at this one!
