An improved showing on my last notes in January 2016. Surprisingly a youthful purple tinge for 11 years of age. Unmistakably Cabernet. Very leafy with geranium notes - almost intoxicating. More herbal capsicum type flavours than fruit driven. That astringent note of 2 1/2 years ago has gone. Langhorne Creek is an under rated area.

A reputable Shiraz maker but not so good here. Minty Cabernet notes. Also aggressive acidity which detracts and reflective of the lesser vintage.
