Even better with a little bit of bottle aging. An extraordinary DRY rendition (See previous notes). The best MKT out there right now. A Lyle Fass Import. Too bad the Swiss version from Pirscher will not make it to our shores. I guess I will have to visit in person.

Gummibären on Steroids.
Bone dry 12.5%. with a ton of minerality and good acidity. This German Muskat from the slope of the Black Forest just rocks. Fresh grapes, over the top peach, guava, passionfruit, touch bitter and a surprising amount of tannins. The village where this comes from Durbach is unique since it is typically known for their Rieslings grown on decomposed Granite soils. What an incredible example for this grape. Dare I say we might be blessed that Lyle imports these little known gems?
