2004. Very good, but not as great as I had hoped. Taste and structure felt much older than I was anticipating for a 2004. Seemed like it might have been a little premature, but bottle and cork all looked in perfect condition. In any case, cherry, black pepper, a hint of meats, and a little must. Started to get pleasant notes of sweet tobacco on the second day. Very smooth with little tannin remaining in this bottle. Nice long finish.
