The best thing I can do , beside all the things I've already done for you as your sommelier/ wine director, is to give you pause in anyway I can , with some grace or hiccup so as to make you pause and enjoy the moment I think you will have , and do have and had with your wine. Most of that can be done alone but surprisingly enough not enough people do . Not enough guests stop to appreciate the thing they pay a lot to appreciate. I have a career because so many don't go slow or know enough about the pause I'm talking about to get in the way of their own life. Sometimes I'm just there to get in your way, on purpose , with purpose.

Cranberry, black raspberry with hints of herbs and a bit of smoke. Beautiful wonderful drinking wine with depth and complexity.

Broke open a bottle of a set we had saved from Spain. Cork still great. Taste was wonderful - not your typical Rioja - tasted like the blend of Tempranillo that it is. Very smooth with hint of vanilla. Buy it if you can find it !

Ripe concentrated cherries and plums. Sweet spices, a touch of coconut and earth. Med plus body and finish. Med tannins and acidity. Not overly Oaked for a reserva!
