Nose is stoney and a bit quiet. Some kumquat, some peach. But slowly getting there. Palate is superbly mineral and energetic but also as the nose suggests a bit closed. But luscious, mineral and sappy. Long finish. GG like complexity and texture. But needs to open a bit more. Finish is very salty, deep and mineral.

Nov 29th, 2021What a nose. Honeysuckle, spice cake, crazy herbal elements, mint, sage, thyme, coriander, terrific. Complex, nougat, tropical, concentrated, pure, playful, delightful. So much dancing on the palate. Amazingly purity. Round. Huge acids. Just a genius profile. So long. So so so long.

If Chablis and German Riesling had a baby, this would be it. Precise and nicely textured. Dry and mineraly. I’ve yet to have a just good wine from KG. One of my favorite wineries right now.

Nose is subtle and complex. As it opens gorgeous spring flower garden with dew still on. See the honeysuckle thing. White flower.
Palate is perfect lemons and minerals. As it opens some richness. Good density. Wow. Intensely mineral.
Tastes like very good traditional 1er cru Chablis. In a sense.
