Black currant notes with an astringent light pine scent that suggests it will be hotter than its 14.1% ABV. While none of that sounds particularly appetizing, it works. On the palate, it's fruity and spicy with good mouthfeel. Great bang for the buck.

Fabulous Rhone-style blend. Needs time to open up and show its best. Enjoyed with a richly sauced beef stew. Great pairing. Racy new world style that still has acid and keeps things in balance. Highly recommend.
